USA is committed to enforcing practices that promote a healthy and safe work environment, as such USA continues to monitor the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation in California and Nevada. USA has implemented pre-screening procedures for the temporary work force, such as asking the following questions:
1. In the last 14 days have you traveled outside of the U.S.? 2. In the last 14 days have you been in physical contact with a person who has traveled outside of the U.S.? 3. Have you been in contact with a person known to have Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19)? 4. Within the past 48-hours have you experienced flu-like symptoms, such as fever, chills, cough or sore throat?
Additionally, information has been posted or distributed regarding the virus and standard health practices, such as staying home when sick, frequent handwashing, coughing and sneezing etiquette and more. USA will continue to post notices from California’s Division of Occupational Safety and Health and the Center for Disease Control, for the foreseeable future.
USA has suspended group activities, such as Employee Appreciation gatherings at the branch location. Temporary workers continue to be encouraged to enroll in Direct Deposit for payment of wages, in lieu of in-person pickup of payroll checks. As additional alternatives to person-to-person contact become available, USA will implement those in the best interest of business and public health and safety.
